Our British Sign Language (BSL) Level 6 qualification is designed for learners who are ready to develop professional-level fluency and deepen their linguistic and cultural understanding of the Deaf community. This course strengthens your ability to engage in complex, nuanced conversations and prepares you for advanced roles in interpreting, translation, and high-level communication within a wide range of settings.
Course Delivery
Our BSL Level 6 course is available both online and in-person. You can join our online classes from anywhere, or if you prefer, we can organise the course at a venue of your choice in East Sussex, Kent, or the South East. This flexibility ensures that the course can fit into your schedule and location preferences.
Course Duration
The BSL Level 6 course runs for up to 40 sessions, providing a structured learning experience that allows you to thoroughly develop your skills over time.
Assessment
You will be assessed through three internal assessments, each lasting between 15 to 18 minutes, and three external assessments, two lasting between 15 to 18 minutes and 90 mins receptive assessments. These assessments are designed to test your advanced understanding and use of BSL in various contexts. Upon successfully passing all assessments, you will receive a nationally recognised certificate.
Fees and Payment Options
The all-inclusive fee for the BSL Level 6 course is £1995. We understand that spreading the cost can be helpful, so we offer flexible payment plans that allow you to pay in instalments.
